  • UNIX software integration specialist for the Tools & Enablers Integration & Environment Management, Architecture and Standards Strategy Team (TiEM) for the Semiconductor Product Sector (SPS). Responsible for maintaining 16 Sun and IBM Enterprise Class  distributed servers.
  • Provide technical, integration and systems support for distributed development, test, and production environments housing multiple UNIX based applications on Enterprise class servers attached to EMC Symmetrix and Clariion storage.
  • Responsible for ongoing technical communications with support and development teams to complete complex application  integration and resolve integration issues.
  • Provide 24 hour support for this global system architecture including hosting environments of over 450 business development, test, and production intranet websites and applications.

  • Contracted to Motorola, Inc. in support of the Motorola Semiconductor to ON-Semiconductor split.  Providing UNIX application system administration on the Enterprise Application Support team
  • Provide all aspects of UNIX system support services for the development environment for the Order Fulfillment Organization (OFO) including operating system support, upgrades, problem detection and resolution, data backups and restores, and recovery from hardware and/or software failures
  • Support development environment at the Piedmont facility which includes several servers – including Sun Enterprise, IBM RS6000, and HP Series platforms, as well as various end-user desktop UNIX workstations

  • Assisted in the design, coding, and implementation of a GUI front end Perl/Tk program to schedule Iridium satellite passes in various areas world wide, which in turn creates a HTML pass schedule table, a blackout schedule, and automated notification system when changes to the pass plans occur
  • Designed and Implemented the On-Orbit Test Team Web Site accessed by engineers throughout the world
